Cowboy Song 03:20
I loved to get up early when my hair was short and curly and I had a look of springtime in my eyes I was cocky as a jaybird though my ways were seldom wayward and I went around a looking for surprise I have had one though not wanted in a carcass that is gaunted and a walk that must be aided by a cane If you hear a sound of tapping why it's me as I go rapping in the night time for a pill to ease my pain
2.
I thought could you and I with Kings conspire to change this sorry scheme of things, entire Would we then want to shatter it to bits? I don't think so, look at the lovely fits We're done remoulding to our hearts desire we've gathered in the wood to keep our fire Upon the family hearth the never failing glow of love, there's no place else we want to go
3.
Keepsake 01:19
We walked along the shores of Tasman Sea the pebbles shone, you gathered some for me A pleasure shared in measure, small this bit of life together still, I treasure it By luck or wisdom soon it was I knew that all I sought of love I had in you And so thereafter you have had from me all I could give to our fidelity
4.
Last Drink 02:47
I hear from the imperious publican who tends the clock and calls "time, gentlemen" I cry "I love this place, don't want to leave" "Sorry sir, the law, there's no reprieve" Let's take our last drink here to celebrate all that has come in joy and sorrow too, had best together no cause now to weep for "might have been" my love, my love we've tucked a great deal in
